With
over 15 years experience, Mike and Annemarie know how to
please their guests. Rancho del Ferrer is a very private white
Andalucian village within sight of the snow capped Sierra
Nevadas and ten minutes from the Mediterranean on the lower
Alpujarras mountains.
Whether riding for two hours or ten, you will experience
breathtaking scenery on solitary mule tracks and trails. This
part of southern Spain enjoys the best climate in Europe -
designated the Costa Tropical with riding comparable to that
of Colorado. You can ride alone or with our professional
guides.
The philosophy is simple: you choose what you want and it will
be provided. You can arrive any time you wish – we are open
all year – and we will meet you at the airport (either
Malaga, Almeria or Granada) at no extra charge. We also have a
large Land Rover for groups with loads of gear.
We cater to individuals and groups. You can even switch
saddles and experience the views 1,000 feet up on the back of
a beautiful Andalucian horse, or simply chill by the pool or
laze in the hot tub.
You will be accommodated in your own delightful local house
within the private village, whether you arrive alone or part
of a group. All the houses have been modernised while
retaining their traditional style. All come complete with
kitchens and bathrooms.
There are no single person accommodation supplements, nor
surcharges. And you do not have to share.
“We owe it to our visitors,” says Mike, “To give them
one-hundred percent. No one is forced into keeping up. Our
guides are not working here to demonstrate how good they are.
ALL ranch staff are here only to ensure that the guests enjoy
