complete beginner to expert. All the dive sites are within 20 minutes
by dive boat from Calahonda, and the average water temperature is

offering fully guided top mountain bike holidays in the beautiful

SAILING, WATER
SKIING, SEA-KAYAKING
We now have two sea kayaks, two catamarans as well as an inflatable
RIB and a Boston Whales for fishing, waterskiing and banana
boating. Based at Calahonda beach, just 20
minutes from the Ranch, this is an ideal opportunity for you to experience the thrill of sailing a fast
catamaran at first hand. Don't worry if you haven't tried
it before, with Mike or Toby at the helm, on a sunny day and with
a good breeze, you will love it!
If you want to take a day off from horse riding or mountain-biking,
we can take you out for a sail instead. Otherwise we can put together
a specific package for you or your party involving a combination of
sailing or beach/water activities and riding or biking. Please ask us for further details.
We can also now offer a Benetau 361 for charter,
for a day, a weekend, or a week. This beautiful yacht is based in
Motril, just 30 minutes away from the Ranch. Please contact us for
further details. You must have had previous sailing experience to
charter this boat!
PARAGLIDING
Teaming up with Parapente Tropical, we can now offer you access to
some of the best flying in Europe, with over 40 different flying sites.

SKIING
As we are situated only 1 hour and 40 minutes from Spain's leading
ski resort, Sierra Nevada, we are more than happy to leave the horses
for a day grazing and take off for the slopes! Both Mike and Annemarie
used to work in ski resorts, and so don't need much encouragement
to put the boards on again...
From late November to late April, Sierra Nevada
boasts 61km of marked runs on guaranteed snow, a resort height of
2100 metres and a top height of 3300 metres.
A full day including transport, lift pass and ski and boot hire costs
just £55. If you want one of us to act as a ski guide, £75, and if
you want Mike to give you a whole day's private instruction, just
£100 fully inclusive. Alternatively, if you have hired a car for the
duration of your holiday, then you could just take off on your own!
It makes a great day off if you are planning to spend the week riding
or biking with us.
